Odéon Hotel

This was in an ideal location. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a view of the Eiffel Tower. The elevator is tiny, and noisy.

Absolutely loved the hotel, stellar location. Everything I could have hoped for. The room a wee bit small but I was expecting that and it was perfectly fine for me as a solo traveler. Highest recommendations . . .

Friendly, helpful, competent staff, wonderful neighborhood cafes and movie theaters. Centrally located to reach museums, historic churches and picturesque sections of Paris....

The hotel is small, well-placed and nice enough. The desk staff are friendly (with the exception of one young man, who was highly annoying). They’re still stuck in the 1990s with regard to the handing in of room keys each time you leave the building. This was irritating because staff always seem to be at the desk when you’re leaving, but you have to hang around in the lobby and wait for them to hand it back before you can go to your room. The room was small and poorly laid out, but adequate for a short visit. The faux-suede wallpaper had some questionable substances on it, so that was fairly disgusting. I wouldn’t stay here again, but a lot of people would probably enjoy the experience for the price.
