The Kings Head Hotel

Modern, recently re-firb room with all mods. Food and service also good. Very friendly service. Would return. Only small negative is that the original old window doesn't close on 3rd floor so you can hear the street noise. Recommend they fix that. Apart from that, very good.

Overnight business trip, the welcome was fine and the room excellent. Even though I had an internal room ( only a skylight ) the quality of the fixtures compensated and as its close to a busy main road this was actually great, no road noise! The only let down is the bar, it needs some comfy corners, if it had I'd have probably stayed all evening and eaten there. Will stay again.

Great room. 4 star quality. Great breakfast . Tempered with quite rude reception staff, a £10 security deposit and zero parking.

This was a superb hotel. The supermarket next door was handy, and there were a bunch of tasty places to eat nearby including the pub. It enjoys very easy to access busses, and only a short walk to the Underground. The washroom, and the heat of the water, was something to look forward to for soothing muscles after a day of walking around. The Kings Head was also a great choice for coming in via Heathrow as there wasn’t far to go on getting in to catch a nap. Then, when leaving there wasn’t all that far to go back to the airport. From end to end of a visit, it would be tough to beat this hotel.
