Comfortable stay
The huts are beautiful with lovely interior decoration. Really beautiful beds with plenty of space. From here, we could watch the fireworks over Reykjavik at new years and we also saw the northern lights! Just remember that the check in is not at the cabbins, but in the hotel in town. There is also a small fridge in the room

2 nights near Vik
Convenient location right on Highway 1 near Vik, perfect for stargazing and aurora watching on dark nights. We stayed 2 nights in room #8 in the basement. It was a very small room but had a private washroom. However, the shower curtain kept falling off. One side window had no blinds, so we were disturbed by headlights whenever cars pulled up in front of the reception.

I loved this property. We had a private room. The area is dark enough to see northern lights if theyre out. The also keep coffe and tea in the main room and there was delicious cookies as well. It was an amazing little pick me up after going out into the cold. I would definitely stay here again.
