The Wilkins Town House was built in 1835 and has all the charm one would expect. What one doesn't necessarily expect, is a hostess such as Miss Jean. Personable, but not intrusive; gracious, but not stuffy; knowledgable, but not pompous, and, maybe best of all, she cooks an incredible breakfast. Trust me when I say that you should try the grits - even if you think you don't care for grits. We are already planning our next trip to beautiful Natchez, and it will certainly include a stay at the Wilkins Town House. I can't wait to see the courtyard in bloom.
