Dreaming Arena Rooms

I ended up having to spend the night in Verona last minute, and I’m glad I chose this place. Check in was quick and easy, staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect. It’s right on the river and it’s just a short walk through town to the train and bus stations. Highly recommended!

I arrived late around 9:00 pm, but Paolo met me and did not take extra payment for it. I am very grateful for that. The location is the best - everything is within walking distance. At the same time the place is quiet. I liked that there was a kettle in the room, chamomile tea and cookies were available. In the mornings, Paolo made coffee. My room was small, but for one the size was quite suitable. There is one bathroom on the floor, sometimes there was a line, but it was not long to wait.

If you just want to get your head down for the night, this is ok for you. Essentially its like staying in your mates spare bedroom, but he's hidden the games console and DVD player. This 'Superior Double' had a wardrobe consisting of a chair with a couple of hangers on the back, and the private (actually very nice) bathroom that was downstairs off the 'reception'. Making a bit more space in the room (take the couch out and put the tv on the wall), adding a clothes rail,dressing table and a bedside table with a lamp would make this room so much better. Hope he sorts this out as he seemed like a really nice guy who's trying to do the right thing.

The room was nice and cozy. Everything was nicely laid out for my stay. The shared bathroom was also quite clean. Only downside was the street can be quite loud at night, but you can close the window to help muffle the noise. I would stay there again!

Great host! He went above and beyond our expectations! The jacuzzi tub was awesome too

Las habitaciones no son como las pintan en la web, no me ofrecieron garaje y nos tocó buscarnos la vida para aparcar, el hombre que nos recibió mostró una apatía total en todo momento y después de haber pagado por Internet con hotels.com y con el comprobante de pago quería q le volviéramos a pagar, me pidió 15€ euros de tasas que le paguamos peroooo,viendo el comportamiento de este individuo decidimos dar por perdida esa habitación y las tasas y buscamos otra cosa que nos salió mejor de precio y con sólo 5€ de tasas. Lo dicho, en Verona hay mil sitios mejor para hospedarse que aquí.
