Great boutique hotel in the heart of Budapest. Very well located, with all the main sightseeing spots within just a few kilometers. Naturally, being downtown and close to the nightlife area, it can be a bit noisy. Improving the windows and doors would make it even better. The room facilities were excellent, including a jacuzzi and sauna right in the room — such a perfect way to relax every evening. Budapest is a fantastic city with great food and amazing sights.

This hotel has a great location. The rooms are perfectly fine for a few day visit. My shower in the bathroom was very large and felt luxurious. The Air conditioning in my room worked great. The only complaint that I have is that my room did not have a coffee maker. Apparently, this was noted in the room details but it seems like a standard feature for most hotels. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but nice to have one in your room as well. There is a fantastic restaurant on the first floor of the building that the hotel is in that is a must try! Great food, service and atmosphere.

Wonderful service and location

Wonderful location to be able to walk Budapest. The front desk was fantastic offering local dining options, places to see with a review of the area on a map. We had a welcome drink on arrival and they always had treats available by the front desk including candy, cookies, pretzels, nuts, coffee, tea, and water. Our room did not overlook the restaurant so it was quiet. I've read some had noise problems overlooking the restaurant.

Where to start? Walking into the lobby and seeing the indoor four-story greenhouse like restaurant is awesome. The reception was great, the room was great, and it checked off two of my most important needs in a hotel: solid water pressure in the shower and a great bed. Stories Hotel in Budapest is one of the most welcoming, beautiful and charming hotels we ever stayed in. Everything is top notch! We stayed in a famiy two story room which was lovely, had comfy beds and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was amazing. One of the best ever in fact. A la carte with unlimited refills of coffee (the cappuccino😋) and juice. Must also mention the staff at reception and in particular Haya who went beyond to help us with booking tours and coming with suggestions. Such lovely staff. I myself has travelled around the world visiting over 40 countries and this hotel is definitely up there in my top five. Thanx a million from Patric with family Sthlm Sweden👍👍👍

Fantastic Hotel

Location and Restaurant are absolutely amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Free Coffee/ water 24/7. Only downfall was the shower in the room. It has seen better days and water leaked onto the floor a lot cause the door was not doing to well. All in all a fantastic hotel and I would highly recommend it

The staff were really friendly which I can’t fault, and the hotel was nice and good value for money overall. Location was great. The bathroom had a real drain issue though which I guess is to be expected with no window in there and poor ventilation but it smelt really bad (to be fair though we didn’t raise this to staff). The sofa was also quite uncomfortable and the tv remote didn’t work which we did raise but it wasn’t fixed. But for what we paid I thought the hotel was good value!
