Special weekend in Karlovy Vary

It was our second time in Karlovy Vary and we were looking for a special place with a view, located in the heart of the city and close to all the main points of interest. This hotel was lovely, bright, with large rooms, a fantastic position downtown and with very pleasant and welcoming staff. We loved our room on the third floor with a balcony. The bed was comfy and the bathroom also very large and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Really perfect location in the city centre, parking in the recommended parking location was good, the space is a bit narrow however, short walk (about 10 minutes) to the hotel. I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews on this hotel but was pleasantly surprised and did not experience any problems during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed two rooms which were very clean and comfortable with small but wonderful balconies. Parking can be challenging but this is an inner-city hotel with an excellent walkable location and it is to be expected. Check in was painless and the breakfast good and tasteful. We will stay here again.

Other than the location, this property is awful!! The rudest people I have ever experienced. No hot water for the first day and a half we were there. Broken shower head when we finally did have hot water. The breakfast was terrible!!! I don't know how old the pastries were, 3 days??? The scrambled eggs were cold and runny, the bacon was cold and undercooked. The wait staff at breakfast was cold and uninterested in their customers. If they weren't in the location they are in, I'm convinced they would go out of business.

Hotellet ligger perfekt i Karlovy Vary, lige midt i den smukke by. Vi havde en suite, stor med masser af skabsplads. Der er IKKE parkering ved hotellet, vi måtte gå af stejle bakker med vores kufferter fra et parkeringshus( lå 650 meter væk) lyder ikke at meget, men det er det pga stigningerne. Personalet på hotellet sagde hverken godmorgen eller goddag, morgenmad var uspiselig( spiste der kun den første dag) Sengene var meget hårde, fik ondt at sove i dem.

Très bon hôtel avec bon emplacement Mais l’accueil est catastrophique . La réceptionniste ne parle ni anglais ni allemand ni français et du coup il a été impossible d’arriver en voiture à l’hôtel car elle ne nous a pas ouvert le passage pour l’atteindre. Obligés avec les bagages de parcourir 1 km dans des ruelles en descente dans la nuit depuis un parking. Je pense que c’est indigne d’un hôtel de cette catégorie
