Napoli Sweet Home

It was our first stay in Naples but unfortunately for one night only. The apartment is in a good location and close to local amenities. We stayed in the Sorrento Suite, which was a clean, bright, spacious and airy apartment with excellent wifi. Giovanni who met us on arrival was very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home straightaway. He helped us to order a home delivery of pizza and pasta and arranged our transfer to the airport the following morning. Its definitely a place I would revisit especially as Giovanni has promised to take us out on a sightseeing tour of Naples! Highly recommended.

When we arrived at Napoli Sweet Home the check in desk was closed and we were instructed to open the door to the hotel with a lock box with a key inside. The lock box had the wrong key in it, so we were left sitting on the steps for an hour while the hotel staff drove to the hotel to let us in. Then once we were inside we found the accommodations sparse and the beds uncomfortable. Even worse, when we came back late that night after being out we had a knock on our door from a neighboring guest who had been told by management to ask us for additional blankets from our room for their beds. They hadn’t received any and I have no idea how long they waited for us to get home. So unprofessional and disappointing to have a guest have another guest give them blankets. The location is also far from all the sights. I wouldn’t recommend this location to friends.

Enjoyed our stay in Naples. The B&B is a short walk from the train station. The area around the train station takes a bit getting used to, but the B&B is far enough away that you can leave it behind. We were greeted upon arrival with lots of helpful information. The room was very clean, with AC, very fast WiFi, jand a good shower and there is a lift to take you to the 6th floor. One amenity missing was a mini fridge which would have added to the comfort and convenience of the room. The neighborhood allows a true Naples experience which included learning to cross the streets and navigating the sidewalks, and taking in all the sights and sounds of the city. Coffee shops, pasticerias, pizza, supermarkets, shopping are at your doorstep. Breakfast was available at an extra charge though we never chose that option.

This place was great - nice, clean and comfortable. It's in a convenient place and it's only 15 minute walk away from the main train station (and the metro). Also, the guys who run the place were very helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend it!
