Seal View Cottage Home

This place has the most incredible view! The cabin is well equipped and has all the modern comforts. The kitchen has been updated from what the pictures show! The bed was super comfortable! The couch/bench seating could use some new padding, for the hours of ocean watching in the rain. The cabin is in a private location and hot tub was the perfect addition to the cool rainy weather! Two levels of decks provided lots options for sitting and soaking up the sun, or fishing and even tossing the crab traps in for a soak. We watched the seals,otters and eagles from the deck and big livingroom windows everyday, sunbathing on the rocks when the tide was low! Eric was very accommodating and helpful during our stay! He is very knowledgeable on the best places to visit on Quadra Island.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time. Mornings were spent on the deck watching the seals play and evenings watching the incredible sunsets. In between we were able to explore this beautiful island. Our only regret was that our stay wasn't longer.

Beautiful private four bedroom, four bathroom cabin. Comfortable bed. End of a cul de sac, private location. Great deck space to watch seals, Eagles and herons. Functional kitchen and good bbq. Cabin type house with lovely views. Bring your own food to the island. Good grocery store on island. Produce looked very good. Not many restaurants on island but did enjoy lunch very much at Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge/Cape Mudge Resort. Great hiking on the island.

This is a beautiful, quiet location, at the end of a road, with spectacular views of Discovery Channel. Watching the ships sail bay, together with seals and eagles, was spectacular. The accommodation was very good, with lots of spare blankets, towels, etc. The BBQ was only partially functional, and the lighting in the home would have been insufficient as the evenings draw in. One member of our group tried to get the TV working, but failed after a great deal of effort. He eventually found out that the bill had not been paid for about a year. The owner/operator seemed surprised that it didn't work.

Eric's place was almost perfect and very spacious for our family of 8 and 2 dogs. Comfortable beds and with a lovely view. (More pics needed on Vrbo to showcase) Only suggestions would be to have more outdoor chairs so future larger parties don't need to cart out the dining chairs every time. Also the stove top needs some fixing as some elements didn't works and the DVD Player isn't functional which was ok since we brought our computer and there was a HDMI cord. Would come again.

The view from the main living/ dining room was incredible, and the location next to April Point lodge was very peaceful. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Great place to stay, we will be back!
