Maxime Hotel

The hotel is superbly styled: dark and sumptuous, with lots of little touches that bring the place together - lots of gold, little martini bottles and burlesque wallpaper. The room itself was lovely, but it was small. It lacked surface space and places to store items. The wardrobe was two small albeit stylish gold bars hanging from the ceiling with about 5 hangers on each. The bathroom had a lovely gold vanity but it didn’t really store anything and the shower was so small I kept banging my elbows on the glass. I loved the styling but I wish it’d been a bit bigger. The breakfast every morning was great - a wide selection and actually reasonable times (8-11am) as no one wants to be getting up super early on their holidays. It was in a fantastic location and had enough on the doorstep to entertain us even if we didn’t feel like going out far. I would definitely stay again!

The Maxime Hotel is a luxurious hotel decorated in cabaret style. Our Deluxe Double Room was comfortable and stylish. We enjoyed the espresso maker and the complimentary chocolates they left on our bed as a gesture of romance towards our honeymoon. The black out drapes were great for getting a good night's sleep in a neighbourhood with plenty of bars. The bartender makes a mean Negroni and the buffet breakfast exceeded expectations.

Wonderful choice for a vacation trip with my lovely wife. Stylish, clean, comfortable, great service, great location, excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again

Nice clean room but the shower was very small but functional.

I had asked for a queen bed, they did not give me one, beacuse I was solo. I had reserved teh room for 4 days. They locked my room after 3 days, when I inquired from front office, tehy said I had reserved for 3 days. When they again checked their system it was for 4 days.
