"Et fint opphold. Rommet var klart 3 timer før innsjekk, så det var supert! Stort dobbeltrom med badekar i bygget på baksiden. Såpene luktet veldig godt! Gode fasiliteter på rommet. Enkelt å varme opp rommet med klimaanlegg eller panelovn. Hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personell. Sentral beliggenhet. Kort vei å gå til togstasjonen, shopping, spisesteder og severdigheter. Kan trygt anbefales. Tusen takk! "

"Fint hotell, hyggelig betjening. Koselig område. Renhold på rommet kunne vært bedre, da det var en god del støv i vinduskarmer mv, samt blodflekker flere steder på veggene. "

"Hotellet lå perfekt til i Oxford med kort vei, til både buss, tog og ikke minst bykjernen. Likevel lå det i et stille og rolig nabolag. Rommet var stort og velholdt, Sengen var god, men renholdet på badet kunne vært bedre. To minus, heisen er ustabil og det er teppe på gulvet..."

"Booked one hour before arrival. The staff was GREAT and gave excellent service. Service was above and beyound. Room was big and quiet. Breakfeast was ok but could have been a lot better. A little walk (10min?) to center so if I stay only for a day I would book somewhere closer. "

"Fint motell og upåklagelig service! Designet var flott, sengene gode, dessverre var det en del støv i de øverste køyene (firemannsrom) og opplevelsen forøvrig ble ødelagt av elendig luftkvalitet - det var varmt og tett, nærmest umulig å sove i. Vi fikk to tårnvifter da vi henvendte oss i respesjonen, men det hjalp dessverre lite. "

"Old and traditional hotel in the centre of Oxford in need of an upgrade. The staff were welcoming and helpful from I came to I left. All OK there. BUT the room was freezing cold. The room had heating but even if I but temperature to 23C it was still cold. Lying in the bed I suddenly realised I could see daylight underneath the both windows. (see photo). And of course this natural ventilation was not ideal in January. Furthemore, the bathroom did not have a heating source except for a towel rack which could not heat the room. The bathroom was therefore really cold, and walking barefoot on ice cold tiles was quite an experience. So - time for an upgrade it seems! "

"The stay itself was comfortable, the service was mostly okay - you had some experienced people, but it seemed like a lot of new staff. However on a star scale I would give it a 3.5-4 star. One of the guys at the front desk tried to charge us trippel the amount to extend our stay one night although it was cheaper online and said that we could risk not getting the same room by booking it through hotels - that left a bad taste in my mouth, and you got conscious of getting scammed. Almost considered changing hotel, as you expect professionalism in a 5 star one."
