We arrived early on the boat from Stockholm. The room was not ready, so we had breakfast, which we had to pay extra for, and went swimming in the pool.
7 hours later, our room was ready. The rooms are pretty standard and nice. The bathrooms however are terrible! Old, dirty tiles. Faded worn out sink. A disgusting shower cabinet with mold and leaky doors. Take a shower here, and the whole bathroom is wet until the next day.
The staff somehow never smile. Never react to guests unless spoken directly to, and generally seem grumpy. Don't expect anything from them. Though I did get a roll of toilet paper, since the maid didn't refill when she didn't clean the room. She replaced the towels and made the bed, done.
There are a lot of restaurants to choose from at the hotel. But don't. The prices are insane, and the food doesn't live up to what they charge. I will say they are good at labeling for allergies, but that is about it. Go down to Naantali in stead.
Oh, and if you are planning on staying here anyway, use the "train" to go down to Naantali. Parking is terrible there.
So long Finland..
