For a high end hotel, they didn’t hire enough people to work the valet parking and no porter to help with luggage to the front desk or room. The coffee machine in our floor wasn’t working for our two nights stay. The room and closet space are tiny for the price.

Beautiful and Thoughtful Hotel
Such a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful hotel and such thoughtful detailed amenities. Details like the water bottles and each floor having a water dispenser, coffee station on every floor and the complimentary drinks. We especially loved the complimentary bikes that we used to ride through Charleston. Would love to come back again

Cute and Cozy
Amazing boutique hotel right in the heart of all the downtown sights. Really cool mod centry modern decor. Great amenities with a restaurant and coffee shop in the building. Complementary coffee and water machine on every floor. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Lots of spaces to hang out and enjoy a coffee or drink from the bar, or work at the tables.

8/10 Very Good

It's a very nice hotel however... If there's is an event or private function be prepared to be treated second best. They heavily prioritize groups and leave regular patrons feeling a little left pushed aside. While we were there two floors had water fountains out of service. Last but not least the standard rooms are SMALL. I mean REALLY small. It was pretty disappointing. We've stayed here a few times and each day was nice... But not without it's challenges.

The hotel is very nice. Our room view was of the outside courtyard. All lit up in Christmas decor. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy much of the property amenities as we just needed a place to stay after a work holiday party downtown. The only complaint is the parking. Valet is $55/night. On street is free only until 5am. Was not going to get up that early to move my car. And the parking garage a block away was not operating so we parked in another garage three blocks away.

Typical “instagram” hotel. Average at best
Average stay. Beware if you are allergic to animals. The property is very pet friendly (they’re everywhere), but I didn’t realize. Itchy red eyes throughout. They offered to move into another room, but could guarantee it would be any better. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Free coffee is great. Loved the free bike rentals and coffee shop downstairs. Outdoor patio with the winter tents was cool until a rat walked right up to us then ran into the bushes, ahh!! Overall, pictures make it look much better than it really was. I’d look elsewhere in the future.

Very nice hotel with great dining at Frannie and Fox. The glass bottle sodas and little snacks in the room is a nice touch. We also received a free welcome cocktail. The room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable.

Weekend away
Amazing location. Weddings were going on all weekend so the hotel was very loud. Music played until after 11 at night which was very loud and we could not sleep. Kitchen shut down on Saturday during the day for the entire afternoon to “get ready for wedding.” Bar was full of people getting drinks from the wedding and there was no room. Overall I loved the location and wanted to love this place but felt like they prioritized weddings over hotel guests so would not recommend this hotel during a weekend

Great energy in a prime location
We spent 4 nights at the Emeline and really enjoyed our stay. You are right next to the city market, carriage tours and many restaurants, bars and shopping as well as an easy stroll through historic neighborhoods. Our room was swanky with a turntable and plush velvet couch living room with separate kind bedroom. Loved it!

Amazing location and lovely hotel, but noisy
So many great aspects: free bike usage, location(!), employees, and water station. Unfortunately, our room was on the side above the restaurant and its outdoor seating. Loud music playing all day and the first night all night. We did ask that they turn it off by 11 and they were great about it for subsequent nights- but it as annoying nonetheless. Our room was very tiny too.

Pick Emeline!!!!!
Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life! The small touches were incredible - the glass water bottles, the turn down service, the happy hour, the candles in the lobby, the little ice bags! I loved it

Ok and needs improvement given the price
Spotty service. Terrible room first night with view of parking lot thru wet paint doors and AC would not heat and door security deadbolt wouldn’t turn. And they upgraded me to a nice room on street//lots of partying. Restaurant ok, concierge a dragon. Could improve given the price.
