First, the bed must be mentioned. For some obscure reason, the hotel has chosen to put a very thick duvet as a «top-mattress» on the bed, resulting in a king size bed being twenty centimeters higher on the middle than on the sides, and the worst comfort ever.
Then there’s the breakfast that costs €32 (thirtytwo) per person, although with an alternative involving croissants and coffee for €16. I suppose the hotel’s core customer is a business travelller, but we are NOT willing to pay 64 euros for an omelet and orange juice.
The «hotel bar» is a small room in the lobby with seven tables. The hotel has 240 rooms, and AS there are NO bars xlose to the hotel, the seven tables were full all three evenings we made an effort to check og there was room. The management may be of the perception that the many sofas in the lobby might be an alternative. Let me tell you; It is NOT.
The vinotheke was closed all the four data we were at the Sofitel, as was the cafe.
On the positive side, clean, well kept, and good location, and spacious room.
