We had a terrible stay at Q Signature Samui.
When we arrived, there were no other guests. We later found out that the hotel was closed because of construction work, which we were informed of neither before nor during our stay. This meant that the pool area was off limits for ten days. During the two weeks we stayed, the cleaning staff never provided us with clean bedsheets or towels (they were always stained). Whenever we asked the staff for anything, they promised to do it, but never did, probably because they didn't understand the requests. This included simple tasks such as ordering a taxi or having our laundry ready within 15 hours. Two times during our stay did the safe reset the code to default while our valuables were inside. Although the staff could open it for us during week days, we ended up buying our own lock. The restaurant was overprised, and although we were the only guests, they still forgot our orders.
The neighboring beach was very nice. Quiet and child friendly, and with excellent street food and restaurants. We also liked Samui very much, but regret our hotel choice.
