With the very cheap rate, it was a good choice quality and pricewise. The hotel’s interior was decent, though the room felt a bit shabby, with an old-fashioned door lock and an old TV. In the bathroom there was just a simple shower with a simple curtain over a bathtub, which was not quite the standard one could expect. The plug in the bathtub drain was not tight, so that it was not easy to fill the bathtub with water. With the hotel located nearby a railway, it could get noisy in the mornings with the window open. But with the air condition and the window closed this would not be a problem. Regrettably, there was no complimentary tea/coffee in the room. However the free wi-fi in the room functioned well.
The staff was friendly and helpful at all times and had both public transport tickets and postal stamps. The breakfast was a bit boring though, with not a lot more than the basics to choose from. They started to take away the dishes sharp at the breakfast closing time, without any notice, so that late risers would not feel very welcome. The breakfast terrace was nice on sunny days.
The location was good. It took some 5 minutes to go to the nearest metro station or tram stop and further some 10 minutes to get to the city. Getting around was very easy with a day card for public transport.
