DO NOT STAY HERE. NASTY.
As a small business owner, I do not leave negative reviews very often. I understand the difficulties that one encounters when running a business and I therefore tend to be VERY flexible. However, the neglect of this property bordering on unsafe and the obvious lack of respect the ownership and management team show for their customers leave me no alternative.
First, and perhaps most importantly, the room was filthy. I'm providing pictures (forgive me) of my bare foot after walking across the floor from the shower. I've attached a photo of the washcloth used to clean my feet immediately after getting out of the shower. There was mold and mildew on the drop ceilings. There were questionable stains on virtually every bit of furniture in the room. I was truly disgusted. There were cracks in the wall of the bathroom, and obvious substandard repairs had been attempted. While repainting the walls, they could not be bothered to move the lid to the toilet and just painted on it too. (See photos.) Speaking of the toilet, they have retrofitted cheap water-saving flush mechanisms that do not work properly and therefore the toilet never actually flushes. The toilet seat was broken. Also, there was an apparent death outside our room with a makeshift memorial setup. Wyndham, you should be ashamed. This hotel is truly a disaster—unclean, unsafe, and virtually without redeeming qualities. The front desk lady was fine.
