The first thing you'll notice when you walk into the hotel is the smell. I'm thinking it is because of the indoor pool, but the lobby just smelled wet. It wasn't humid, but it smelled damp. The indoor pool isn't far from the reception desk. However, check-in was a breeze, and the staff is friendly. Our room was fine though, and they even had a small dehumidifier running in our room.
The beds were fairly comfortable, and our kids enjoyed having the pull out couch to sleep on. The pool was freezing cold though, in my opinion. Our kids enjoyed it, but it was just too cold for me to get in. The hot tub was nice though. The door leading from the pool to the lobby was a little busted though, but I think the staff fixed the problem. For the price of the room, I can't really complain. This hotel is one of the more inexpensive rooms close to downtown Athens, and it's not that bad of a place to stay.
