Nice hotel, improvements needed
Hotel was clean and comfortable. My first stat at a keyless hotel (key on phone), which I loved. I always lost the traditional keys. It’s nice how the app notifies you that room is ready, able to check in (through app) 3 hours early.
One complaint was the mini fridge was barely working so I constantly had to run and get ice (ice machines on all floors but only ones working were on 1st, 3rd and 5th floor. I was on the second floor. I didn’t complain bc by time I realized it, I was already unpacked and didn’t want to chance switching rooms. I had a suite, which had a sink,so I iced drinks down in it.
My complaint was the pool area. It was directly below me. Pool hours ended at 10 pm, tho people were swimming until way after midnight. My room was directly above the pool and I heard kids screaming, laughing, in pool area through the floor. Do not choose or accept room 201 or you will go through same.
This is a dog friendly hotel. I have 3 dogs, none with me on this trip. Plenty of dog potty stations (doggy poo bags and a garbage) yet there was dog poop everywhere. If people aren’t picking up after dogs, enforce with a fine or have an employee pick it up daily.
The carts used to take luggage to and from room, ppl take to room and don’t return. This wasn’t bc they were checking out as they had 3 and 2 were missing for 2 days.
