We are being charged $300 for "smoking in room". My husband and I did not smoke in the hotel room. I've tried calling multiple times to get this matter cleared up and charges reversed. Hotel manger is not returning calls and conveniently unavailable to answer the phone. Ive also filed a complaint with corporate headquarters for hilton.
We had some maintenance issues during our stay. Closet door would not open and bathroom door was broken. Two maintenance personnel were there to fix said problems. Housekeeping was also in room during our stay. If we had been smoking any one of those 3 people would have said something to management on our first day at hotel.
Since we did nothing wrong we had nothing to hide. It was only after we checked out that the smoking charge was applied to my card.
Housekeeping also came by the morning we were leaving. We told them we would be out of the room by 9:45am.
So multiple employees came to our room during our stay. Never once did we smoke and are now being charged for smoking. There was an event being held at the hotel were other people were outside smoking in designated areas.
