The employees in the restaurant pleasant, and Mr Baris AKSOY, shift leader in the reception was very helpful and always positive. But, I booked out,and my daughter stayed on alone for a tournament. Due to rain, matches delayed the following day, her double partner&coach came to keep her with company, but suprisingly not allowed to sit and wait in the lobby, but showed away. In our opinion unheard of that a hotelguest can not have a guest and sit in the lobby together. I called, and a quite unfriendly women in the reception said it’s not allowed to have somebody outside the hotel visit a guest living in the hotel even though they are only sitting in the lobby. I do not believe this is true, and then she said they could stay up to 30 minutes and after that pay 25euro each to sit longer. I think it’s rude, sly &unacceptable. This same women tried to justify by asking, what would happen if every guest staying in the hotel brought someone to the lobby? Well as far as I know this has never been a problem in any hotel lobby I have ever visited anywhere in the world. Even though most of the employees have been very nice and helpful during my stay, I WILL NOT RECOMEND ANYBODY TO STAY HERE. If the Hotel Kaya Belek believes their policy is acceptable, I think they are very wrong, and it is very surprising when they also know that our daughter is staying on all alone and can not go anywhere. She has begged to be allowed to have her friend so they can study, but Hotel Kaya Belek says no:(
