I had 3 nights at Palm Garden Lodge. My first day was not so good, i didn't get my luggage, but Pheara, the receptionist was amazing. He stayed up all night, calling after it, and the next morning, he got his brother Chetra to drive me to the airport to pick it up. Chetra also became my driver/guide for my intyre stay in Siem Reap. They arranged everything for me, so that i managed to catch a glimpse of every temple (execpt the two furthest away). Their friendlyness, and helping of all their guests was flawless. Im really amazed. The hotel standard was okey, not fancy rooms, but they were big, and you had everything you needed. AC, tv, refrigurator, hot water ect. The cleaning also was good, i know because i was wearing white socks, and they didnt get dirty :) The location was also good, it took me about 5 minutes to walk to the main street, with the bars, restaurants, market and so on. So i was just around the corner from heavy nightlife, but still far enough away, to have the perfect atmosphere that we hat at Palm Garden Lodge. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesnt need 5 star standard. I will choose this hotel again in the future, if i go back to Cambodia. After my 3 days there, if there is anything to put my finger on, it is the towels that you get, they smell abit funny (like a man's cologne with moist clothes kind of mix), so can be preferable to bring your own towel :)
