Please fix your airport gem!
This is an example of a hotel that was fantastic when it first opened, and managed to maintain itself well for several years, but of late seems to have given up on itself. The last three times I have stayed at this property the carpets got dirtier and the rooms smelled badly of mold and mildew, especially the bathrooms.
This time, the front desk staff was indifferent and didnt greet me when I walked in. The room stunk and the mattress on the bed had a huge unconfortable dip in it. There is no energy left at this hotel. It needs a renovation badly, and not just the rooms - the staff could use some inspiration also. Paying a premium price for the pleasure of staying at a Marriott property should bring with it the expected quality Marriott is known for. This wasnt it. I cannot justify staying there again.
The shuttle driver to the airport was awesome, friendly, and lively. He brought the overall score up from zero.
