We travelled with a baby and were pleased with the size of the double room we booked - there was a good amount of space for our travel cot. The room was also very clean and the bed was nothing special but fine.
The hotel is within about 2 minutes walk of a shopping centre, which came in very handy.
Food at the hotel seemed basic but fine. We had fish and chips, which wasn't great, but OK, and the breakfast was the same as at all other Holiday Inn Express hotels - basic but fine.
I would say that they should include information regarding the parking system in your confirmation email or something. If their own, small car park is full, you have to initially park on the street, just before the taxi rank, while you go in and request a permit for the second floor of a public multistorey next door.
