We had the 2 bedroom apartment. A very comfortable hotel. Large comfortable rooms with quiet central air condition, large windows and balcony. Every bedroom is like a regular hotelroom with separate bathroom, sitting group and a small desk. In addition there is a kitchen, a living room with tv and balcony and an extra guest bedroom. Good and flexible cleaning service. Even when we were stayin long they would come back in the afternoon to clean the room.
This is a rural part of Dubai. Expect to use a lot of taxi to get around, but it is also close to the main roads, so most attractions are resonable easy to get to. Global village and Outlet mall is 10 minutes away, Dubai mall is 20 minutes away. Palm Jumeira is 30-40 minutes away. When going to Naif, gold or spice souk it is probably better to take the taxi to the nearest metro station and use metro from there. There is very heavy trafikk in the naif souk area. Expect an hour to get to naif souk. Dubai is a decentralized city with a lot of traffic jams. Even if you stay in the city centre you will spend time travelling to various attractions. We spent 30-70 dirham taking taxi to the different places.
Around the hotel there are a few eating options. The hotel restaurant is open until 9pm, no food is served at the hotel after 9pm. There is a pizza restaurant just outside open later, and around 15 minutes walk away there are 3 more eating places. There is also a supermarket at the hotel open until about midnight.
