Bring earplugs
You´re paying for location. If you´re a backpacker it´s worth a while to stay here. You can save money and meet other travelers. The reception can arrange tours and the location is in the backpacker district, with plenty of resturants, tour companies and ATMs nearby. From here you can plan your excrusions and meet likeminded travelers. Just don´t expect too much from the hotel.
The hotel is divided over 7 floors and the floors are divided in male and female. That means all female and share with females only. While men only share with men. You share bathroom and shower with the rest of the people on your floor. Lockers are provided to everyone, where you keep your stuff locked away while you´re out. The space for sleeping is small and you can hear everything that´s going on on your floor. So be prepared to bring earplugs. If you don´t like noise or easily awake, then don´t stay here.
Honestly, the place is not that clean and I was disappointed by that. The bathrooms did not smell nice, one toilet was clogged and there was no hand soap provided in the bathroom. They expect you to bring your own. People came and went all day and night long (noisy) and there is loud music from the street nearby far into the night.
I was disappointed that the capsule was only ´closed´ by a textile blinder...I was sort of hoping for more isolation between myself and those who pass by in the narrow hallway between the capsules and the lockers.
It´s an experience I guess.
