Breakfast on the bungalow terrace
Stayed in one of the bungalows next to the pool for 3-4 nights and most of the time it felt like I was alone there, witch I enjoyed. The hotel borrows guest bikes, and the night market / food stalls shops etc are about 1+km away, so just a short bike trip, about 5 minutes maybe. I loved living a little away from the hustle and bustle and biked easily back and forth. Be aware the bikes do not have lights,as it gets dark early and quite trafficked I used the light on my cell phone to be seen when going back in the dark. Also the hotel provided a free return to the airport. Not sure if they do this for everyone but I appreciated this. I only had one meal, and food was ok. At this hotel you can choose between 4 different breakfast menus that you write on a board + the time you wish to have it served. I loved lazy breakfasts on the bungalow terrace every morning. Didn’t get the one I ordered every day though, wanted pancakes the last day, but got an omelet. I didn’t say anything as I just wanted a quick breakfast before going to the airport, but I’m sure they would have served me pancakes if I have made them aware of it. It is well kept and charming area, and the room was clean. Also liked the mosquito netting on the big windows in front so I could have the windows open without the room becoming full of bugs. All in all,loved my stay and will defiantly recommend this place, and stay there again if/when back in Luang Prabang. So far my favorite hotel on this trip.
