I traveled to Boston for my youngest sons’s college graduation. I was aware that I was staying on the fourth floor without access to an elevator prior to my visit. That was the only issue I experienced because of my own need for more daily exercise. After I made it to the top floor and opened my door, I was welcomed into the most inviting space I have ever been in during a hotel stay. The layout is perfect. The bathroom is the first door on the right with a separate shower and tub. The kitchen is to the left with a complete set up - refrigerator, range, dishwasher, stocked cabinets, breakfast table and chairs. A small desk with a lamp is directly across from the entrance. And a sofa that pulls out to a bed sits before a television and coffee table. The bed was tucked away on the other side of a wall out of view from the front door, but you could be in bed and watch television with ease as the bed was directly behind the sofa. The use of SPACE and placement of furniture made this suite the most comfortable I’ve ever been in. Any needs I had were communicated through text messages, and a response was consistently received within minutes.
I was within walking distance (15 minutes) of Boston University and did not have to call an Uber even once during my stay. I walked to a restaurant for dinner and to the store to pick up a few personal items.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be checking for vacancies with Charlesgate Suites any time I am visiting Boston.
