Hotel is old, tired and dated in need of a refurbishment. On check in day, I was left standing at the desk for 10-15 minutes while staff were chatting in the back office, I could hear them laughing and chatting. Once they realised I was served promptly. Everything for breakfast served with disposable plates/bowls/cups and plastic cutlery. Not very environmentally focussed. Breakfast was basic and not very well laid out, caused hold ups, with no real system. Not what I would expect from the Hilton Group. Won’t stay there again. Pool area was nice but no towels present, had to keep requesting towels from housekeeping. Key recognition system cancelled everyone’s access on 28th March so could not get into hotel or rooms had to get keys reprogrammed. Disappointing stay overall.
