The rooms were great, very clean and great service. We unfortunately had to move because of noisy neighbors and when we got upgraded to a suite (which was very nice) there was loud noise from the club at the hotel next door. The concierge was OK but not great. There was a ton of staff but we were getting mixed answers from various people. All the tours seemed to be sold as 'private' but we did not necessarily need or want that, so they should suggest cost saving group tours in addition to private tours for people who are interested. All the communal rooms in the lobby smelled strongly of smoke. While the rooms were affordable for very good quality, the food was extremely expensive for what you got. There should be more parity between room prices and the cost of food. At least they could serve good free coffee and some type of bread free of charge in the mornings. The service by the pool and the beach was excellent and very nice facilities. Good location. Easy to get taxis and in the center of the city.
