First impression with the cramped lobby , "bar wall", and plexiglass in front of the reception desk ( from Corona days) left a slight concern...Ps. The lobby space could be much better used by getting rid of the round table in front of the entrance and dotting the white chairs and tables in the space.
Room was very clean.Bathroom was well appointed yet could have had a bright light over the mirror...Bed was comfy and the usuals as ironing board, ect were there. Lighting seemed to go off all of a sudden but once I told this to the desk receptionist, it was sorted out.
Breakfast was a nice assorted spread. Nice staff. Ate out the second day but that was a mistake. Many places are closed for Saturday breakfast until later. Eat at the hotel...
Reception...on first appraoch I seemed like I was bothring them..But after a bit of chatting found that was not the case. Nicole was very helpful and professional.
ALL IN ALL, good value for money for a clean, CENTRAL, stay, near the metro...5 minute walk, 1 hour to the airport via metro, hotel can call a cab which only takes minutes to get there, and a 10 minute walk maximum to the main sites and pedestrain street - Hotel isn t in the most razzly dazzly part of town but ok.
ps. the spa was dark when we were there and didn t look inviting. Bar was a niche in the loby with a counter and few chair. looked dismal. some private arrangements in the restaurant at night.
OVERALL PLEASANT..
