I read the comments about the drainage and unfortunately when we got there, the cleaners had forgot to put the plug over the shower drain so the room did not smell particularly pleasing. On the ground floor and the windows are very old, so you do hear a lot of noise from outside. If it had been a lower nightly rate, I might have been inclind to give a higher rating, but for the price I paid, I regret not booking an Hilton for an extra £35.

The shower did not have enough water pressure to wash soap off or extend into the rest of the shower cubicle, the water could only dribble down. The towels were dirty/stained. If you don't cover the drains then the room stinks of sewage. The bed was comfortable at least.
