This is more like a guest house than a hotel. The sooner you can wrap your head around that, the sooner you'll have a good stay!
The "hotel" seems to be family run, and staff is not professional at all - but sweet and talkative and welcoming. The location is great for Red Light District (central, but quiet - you can sleep with your window open!). Rooms are spacious. Bathrooms quite new and spacious too!
Negative:
- Beds are very soft, pillows very lumpy (going to bed was the worst in this hotel, it doesn't feel comfortable or clean)
- Rooms are run down and in need for paint and new furniture
- Wifi didn't work half my stay and wasn't fixed when I asked them to
- Linens don't smell or seem clean
- Vacuming is not satisfactory, my carpet was full of hair
- They do not help you with luggage even if your room is on 3rd floor (very steep stairs, no elevator)
BUT: The staff is so chatty and nice that I kind of enjoyed my stay anyway!! Go figure.
