Very clean and very homey. The proprietor was very friendly, and I was given an unrequested free upgrade to a suite with a full kitchen. Each cottage-like room had its own parking space. The spotless room was also scent free: i.e. no smoking had taken place and there were no coverup disinfectant smells. Yeah! A nearly adjacent mall had a food court with many good options.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The buildings are old and showing their age inside. Everything functioned, hot water, toilet, a/c and heat,tv, etc, but the bathroom could use an upgrade, or, at least, a complete cleaning of the grout. The bed was clean and comfortable. the room was nice and quiet, even though it was right next to a main road.

I traveled for work to Ventura. I stayed here before. I booked a queen size bed to stay in and was given a full kitchen. Let us talk about the bed. It was neatly made. I fell asleep on it within minutes! Let’s talk about the heater. It worked! It was in the 30s outside overnight. You want ventilation? The air-ceiling fan works too! The window in the restroom provides fresh air too! The kitchen had a gas stove, an oven, Full fridge n freezer, and microwave. I did not have pots and pans but if you ask, the motel may provide it? I am unsure. Other hotels provide the paper towels and the dish soap and sponger but I did not see any on the counter or in the cabinets. I did not see any plates or utensils too. I brought my own food for my meals so I was prepared and for this trip, I did not need anything else. The TV worked! Enough said on that considering I do not watch TV at all at home and do not even own one! There was a wooden dresser with drawers. Two closets were in the room. The bathroom was tiny if you are tall—this may be too tiny for you. It was perfect for me because I am not tall at all. The motel provides toiletries. There was ample toilet paper. The towels look a bit worn down. Please replace. Natural light? Yes, there are two full-size windows in the kitchen and bedroom area. There was only one kitchen hi-chair but two chairs to sit on that need to be replaced. The cushions were dirty. Or perhaps, wet vacuum it

Ok, Could have been better

Desk lady was nice and informative. Parking literally right in front of your door. I only booked for the hot tub not knowing that it wasn’t for every room, despite the website saying otherwise. No dead bolt on door, swing lock broken, just the knob lock available. Door to adjoining room didn’t lock and just had a table in front of it. Toilet had hair of different sorts on it. Bathroom window wasn’t locked. Ac did work, lighting was amazing. Light switches were broken but still worked. Lamp was broken and crooked. No bed bugs. Very cold floors. Shelf under tv was not screwed in. Electrical tape and duct tap in the door covering a crack in the middle of the door and the peep hole. Could hear the neighbors talking. Maybe if I booked a different room I would have had a different experience, but with the cleanliness of this room I doubt it would have been any better. It was sufficient for the night, but would not recommend more then that unless it was your only choice. Only felt safe to sleep when I moved the dresser in front of the front door and wedged a chair in front of the adjoining door.

Not good at all. Sticky surfaces everywhere, closet smelled like urine, an actual 4in hole was in a wall, etc. Thin walls, you can hear the neighbors and the loud road. The only positive thing was all of the bedding seemed clean (no stains, no bedbugs). I don't recommend for even one night. I got in late and decided to leave early in the morning, otherwise I would've eaten the cost and gone somewhere else.

This was easily the worst room I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled all over the USA and have visited 67 countries. It smelled terrible, many items were broken and the bathroom had rust on the fixtures. There was no mirror in the bathroom and the medicine cabinet had a back panel and one side piece (the rest was missing). The only lock on the entry room door was a button on the knob (there had been a chain at one time but it was missing the parts needed to lock it in place). To top it off, there was no hot water. I let the shower and sink run for 15 minutes and the water was still cold. This place should not be available on Hotels.com. It was an absolute dump. I wish I could get my money back.
