The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. We were disappointed in the breakfast. Most places we stay at have hot food or at least the option of making waffles. The yogurt with granola, nuts, and sauces was nice but then our last morning they were out of yogurt! At least she had put out some larger muffins so we didn't leave with no food as we got on the road. I was also surprised there were no microwaves in the rooms, was told they were not permitted by the fire department! The staff was very nice, even let us use the main office microwave to heat leftovers one day as we didn't havevroom in our little cooler to take them home with us. Overall a positive stay, and the location was great.

Spark by Hilton Grand Rapids – Great Stay with a Minor Catch We recently stayed at the Spark by Hilton in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The hotel is bright, modern, and exceptionally clean. Check-in was a breeze, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room itself was comfortably furnished, with comfortable bedding and reliable Wi-Fi, making it a great value and a reliable base for exploring Grand Rapids. A Quick Heads-Up on Ice: The only minor inconvenience during our stay was the ice situation. There were no ice buckets in the guest rooms, and all of the ice machines on the upper floors were out of order. We had to head down to the ground floor every time we needed ice. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but having an ice bucket in the room or working machines on every floor would make the stay even smoother. Overall, it's a solid, high-value hotel with excellent service, and we would happily stay here again!

The bedsheets had not been changed. We had to request clean sheets. Bathroom floor was oddly wet. Creaky bed. One bed had a strange metal piece that stuck out which we kept bumping into. This was our first time to the Grand Rapids area and I picked the is hotel not knowing what to expect. The staff was unbelievably amazing! Bobbi Jo and her afternoon staff greeted us each day like we were friends! Helped us with accommodations we needed for a wheelchair. Breakfast was perfect for a quick meal before we got going in the am. While the property itself is older and could use thing like new carpet and a paint job, all in all a great experience!!

Nice 3 star hotel tuck away, hotel has potential but overall just not clean. General manger and staff are nice and welcoming. I had a good one night stay just to get some rest. Daily cleaning and breakfast options could be better.
