Coolest place on Orange Beach. Built in 1924 the character and homeyness was just what we wanted. The manager was sensational, her breakfast menu deserves a Michelin star. It’s an old place, but so well maintained we thoroughly enjoyed this bed and breakfast!

The breakfast was fresh and lovely every day. Lilia is a wonderful hostess. She made me feel very welcome. The hotel is a little up in age, but it was a lovely area. It had beautiful access to the beach and a lovely courtyard with the pool. I will be going back.

We loved our stay at the Original Romar House. Exactly what we were looking for. We don't like the big, crowded tower hotels. The Original Romar house is nice quaint little old style bed and breakfast. Easy access to the beach. Nice little patio and pool. Lily, the host is amazing. Every morning we had an amazing breakfast. She even made special options for my gluten free wife. If you want something a little less commercial and more intimate, I cant recommend the Original Romar house enough. My wife already wants to plan our return trip.

Breakfast every day was amazing. My husband is now going to expect French toast casserole, homemade waffles, peach cobbler and apple crisp!! The innkeeper is delightful and very eager to please. Our room was facing the ocean but because it was downstairs there was no view. But the deck upstairs more than made up for it. Coffee every morning in a rocking chair overlooking the water. Paradise!

The property is charming, beautiful & relaxed...just what one wants in a beach B&B. Lilia, the manager, is so accommodating & prepares an awesome breakfast each morning. Sitting on the covered, open-air deck, watching the ocean, eating breakfast & sipping delicious coffee...well, that's hard to beat! Also, the property is very convenient to many dining & shopping options.

It is getting harder to find a unique vacation spot that is quiet and still has a view of the ocean from the back porch. It is so convenient to the beach, shopping, and dining but is not in the middle of the chaos. Lilia, the innkeeper is exceptional! Breakfast was incredible. I would not change a thing about the most relaxing two days ever!

The absolute best place to stay in Orange Beach. This hidden gem did not disappoint! Clean, beautifully decorated, continently located, and the breakfast was out of this world. The best part was Lilia. She went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. We are already planning a trip back to the Romar next year.

My husband Rob and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing place on the panhandle and we are so blessed to have found this one. I cannot say enough about this place and the team! Lillia is a treasure and you can tell her passion is in making this place shine and her guests feel welcome. From the history of the place and the character to the intimate details and amenities, this is far best the place we've stayed in on the panhandle.This is definitely my husband and I'm new go to.

Perfectly charming Bed and Breakfast!

Our stay at Romar B&B was wonderful! Our room was comfortable and so clean! Lilia is an attentive and gracious host. She made a delicious breakfast everyday and provided an afternoon gathering for wine and cheese on weekends. The pool is perfect but the beach is beautiful…white sands and blue water. You could it ask for more. We are already planning our next trip.
