We arrived on time, 09:00 in the morning. The owner wasn't there so we called her. When she arrived she told us it was overbooked and we couldn't stay there. She had arranged with a friend of her just down the road, so that we could stay at his place. We had to accept because there was no other options available nearby that we could find on short notice. Her friend gave us his daughters room, 1 star, no aircon, shared kitchen and bathroom. They also wanted the same price because of the hotels.com booking, which is bull****. We managed to get the price down some, and we also doublechecked with hotels.com by calling them to make sure they cancelled the original reservation. An irritating and unnecessary start for a 3-day stay that was booked and confirmed several months in advance. A simple phone call ahead would have solved this matter better for both sides. Please use your head. Be careful when considering this place. Unprofessional customer service.
