Location, location, location! Diagonally across from Independence Hall and the Mall. Walking distance to almost everything you would want to see, especially the Museum of the American Revolution which was our goal. Comfortable, clean and new .... but the location can't be beat.

The hotel Staff is friendly, the rooms are big. You need to increase the seating space in the lobby, especially if you are serving wine at 5pm. Maybe a nice long community table with chairs.

The Monaco was great, centrally located and the staff and facilities were excellent. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars was the food at their pub - overpriced and a very small selection. I had the Philly Cheese Steak, which since it was in Philly should have been outstanding, but it was overpriced and bland.

The hotel itself and staff are very nice. While we didn't take advantage of it, it being a pet-friendly property is nice to know. Booked a room with a tub, which was deep and spacious -- Separate shower and tub is a nice amenity. Nice lobby bar, although a bit overpriced, especially for mocktails. Bed was not the most comfortable. The bed linens did not feel premium, and were strangely loud. Although nitpicky, it was a nice experience.
