My stay at the Super 8 Convention Center Premiere Hotel in Bakersfield was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Kal and his incredible team made it clear that guest care is their top priority. I had injured my back on the way there, and without hesitation, they went above and beyond to place me in a room that was not only comfortable but thoughtfully accommodating—making it easy for me to get in and out without added strain.
The room itself exceeded expectations—clean, well-kept, and genuinely relaxing. But what really stood out was the attention to detail throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t just your standard fare—it included fresh grilled waffles, muffins, and hot coffee that actually tasted fresh and satisfying. In fact, one of the front desk staff members kindly made my waffle for me, which perfectly captures the level of care and hospitality here.
The location is another huge plus. Within walking distance, I found several fantastic dining options. I enjoyed fresh mahi mahi from a nearby restaurant and an incredible avocado and chicken protein bowl that easily rivaled meals I’ve had in much bigger cities.
Every staff member I encountered was helpful, friendly, and genuinely invested in making my stay better—from check-in to check-out. It’s rare to find this kind of consistent service.
And they have a POOL!
Trust me—I’ve done the research. If you’re staying in Bakersfield, this is the place. You won’t regret it.
