A simple way to sum this up, STAY AWAY! This is _the_ worst "hotel" I´ve ever been to. Its more like someones back room, than an actual hotel. Its located 5 min walk from Colosseum, which is great, but thats where the good news end. First of all, when you stand outside, there´s no hints to where it is, a small sticker on the callphone outside is the only way to find it, then you have to haul you luggage 3 stories up. There is an elevator, but its so tiny even a midget won´t fit in it, and it didn´t seem to be in working order. The room was badly refurbished, the shower barely had running water so it took me about 30 minutes to even get wet. Luckily there was some staff at the hotel when we came, but thats also almost the last time I saw any employes, for the next 4 days. The doorbell kept ringing all the time, but nobody seemed to bother. I even met a couple that had to check in at another hotel to get shelter for the night, because they were locked out here, and not given the correct keys. A few days before leaving I asked the staff to call for a taxi for our return, unwillingly they arranged a shuttle, after suggesting I take the metro, but anyhow, that shuttle never showed up when I was due to leave. Summed up, unless you want the worst hotel experience of a lifetime, stay far away from this scam!
