Meh. Ok hotel for an ok price. Price could be lower for what you experience. Uppity and downright sarcastic service from 2 out 4 concierges, the other half was friendly enough. The breakfast was abbysmal, as they only had cookies and biscuits, coffee and juice. That's it! They might as well skip the entire thing and cut down the prices by not keeping it up. Nobody was eating there, and nobody had eaten, as all the tables were still decked, and this was right before end of breakfast. Go across the street to the grocery store or one of the nearby restaurants. Bed was hard to sleep on, spring mattress from the last century. The aircondition worked fine though, and the cleanliness was good. Wifi not free, and cost an arm and a leg. It's cheaper to put your phone on roaming, and that says something. The room itself is completely fine for traveling on a budget, except for the mattress. With that said, the walls are not sound proof, and you can hear the neighbours TALKING, as well as showering, taking a dump, you name it. Luckily there were no freaks or loudmouths next door. To discredit someone else on here that mentioned the hotel being infested with mosquitos, I can say that so are most of Venice and surrounding areas, as the air is quite humid. If you want to stay in or around Venice on a budget, I stayed in Lido for about the same price, and the hotel there was a lot nicer, had friendlier staff, less noise, and had much more picturesque surroundings.
