The hotel itself has been newly renovated. I got a nice big room, with a very nice bed and the bathroom was super nice. Everything was really clean, and the room was tidied everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The one negative thing was that the room was quite noisy (I had a room on the 8th floor, to the back). Even if I turned off the AC, there was a kind of bouldering brown noise sound coming from outside. The hotel had a technician come look at it, and the closed the windows, but it still didn’t go away so I don’t think the windows are quite sound proof. Ao being earplugs - I slept well with those.
I didn’t try the breakfast. There’s also a coffee machine in the room, but you have to walk to the 2nd floor to find water. Which was also free of charge and they provide a reusable water bottle which was nice.
Location wise it’s perfectly located in Midtown with easy access to most places.
Not sure if I’ll stay here again, mainly due to the noise in the room as I’m very sensitive to that and wanted to relax after a long day in bustling New York.
