This is probably an ordinary three star hotel - nice and clean, but we give it a low rating because it gave us a nightmare experience.
We had booked a Superior room with 1 queen-size bed for 2 persons for 1 night and arrived very tired shortly before midnight. We noticed that the pillows were peculiarly arranged in the middle of the bed (like on the web-site photo of the room), but not until we had gone to bed, we realized that only one of the pillows were usable, and that, in fact, the whole room was equipped for only one person. The hotel phone did not work, so I had to get dressed and go down to the reception to ask for pillows and towels for the second person. The receptionist said this would be brought up to our room, but he did not seem surprised and he did not apologize in any way. As nobody turned up with the pillows, I had to go down to the reception once more to get the stuff. After that my night was ruined - I could not sleep at all.
We find the room-advertising ambigious. We got an e-mail from the hotel (in German), stating that we had booked "1 Superior Einzelzimmer" for "2 Erwachsene". So, what should other guests expect when they book this room - a room for one or a room for two?
