Stayed 1 night with my friend. We were in A.C. for a show at Tropicana and this was the cheapest hotel I could find. For the price, it was well worth it. The Tropicana Hotel is literally across the street so that was VERY convenient. My complaints would be that this hotel is rundown and not clean. When you walk in the lobby has a terrible smell of like damp wet dog. Luckily, the checkin was quick. Had to pay $10 for parking & that was around the corner, it wasnt too convenient, limited spots. When walking to our room, we walked through the cafeteria and that damp smell was strong. The pool was dirty, but im not factoring that into my rating bc I knew it was closed for the season, so I had no expectations. Our room itself, didnt smell bad, but the chair did have stains on it. We came prepared with lysol and clorox wipes so we wiped down the entire room & sprayed disinfectant. Then we went to Tropicana to get a drink. We returned and the room smelled lovely and we let it air out with the door slightly open. We didnt spend much time in the room. Overall, I would rate this place 6/10. For someone just staying a couple nights, I would def recommend. Especially, if youre going to spend most of the time away from the room. *One more thing to note, my friend and I got a BAD stomach virus & we believe it was due to the ice at the hotel. We didnt eat or drink the same things that night. The only thing we had in common was the Hotel Ice. Again, that ice room had that terrible smell too.
