The hotel is located only a few meters from the beach, and pretty much at the middle of the length of the beach, conveniently close to pubs and clubs, and with a 24/7 store right next door and a 'supermarket' a block or so away. As for the neighborhood, Tel Aviv is a very mixed bag when it comes to infrastructure, so you'll find very modern, tall buildings right next to abandoned old condemned ones. A lot of construction work gong on as well (but we still weren't bothered by noise at night). Even though the location is good, don't expect to get a view of the sea, at least not from the cheaper rooms. The rooms are nice and clean, albeit a bit small (but we knew that; we were three people in one room). The included breakfast is OK - a plus for having some 'real', full grain bread and not just the white unhealthy bread one usually gets abroad. The common bathroom on the second floor is worth a visit(!) - really nice and classy (no irony intended). The hotel has free Wi-Fi, and parking space for your car, although the hotel car park is probably full, so you'll have to park at a car park only 100 meters down the road, and have the parking validated at the hotel reception desk. The staff was helpful when asked, but not exactly cheerful. If you're on somewhat of a budget, I would recommend this hotel - maybe even if you're not. My impression is that it's a cheap (but in a positive way) hotel situated among the much larger and more expensive ones.
