I was on the fence a little bit about this, I was thinking 3 star, but after 2 emails, and a couple of facebookmessages that noenone seems to be bothered to answer, I came to a 2 star..
Tha property itself is nice, located in a quiet part of KoLanta, the beach is nice, and there is some nice restaurants nearby.
We had a so called Moonlight Suite, which had an outdoor jacuzzi and a great view.
Tha property has 3 pools, the 2 I've used did not have any stairs, which could be a problem for som people.
The restaurants have an OK meny, with OK prices.
The bad parts. It all comes down to lack of and bad management. The newly buildt rooms are in poor condition, no qualitycontrol what so ever. The staff around the property is plenty, but still the area around the pools, and sun chairs looks like a mess. The staff would rather look at their phones, than removing old towlels and glasses etc.
The service in the restaurants is slow, even though they are well-staffed.
But the worst part is that the hotel send a car to pick us up from the airport, whose driver is one of the worst/dangerous I've ever encountered. They also recomend thier guest to rent motorbike from a place that wants to keep your passport as "collateral".
Believe it or not, the passport is kept in a clear plastic case in plain view for everybody, in their shop.
All-in-all, I do not understand that this is a 4 star resort
