I hated my stay at this "hotel." I put hotel in quotes because it felt like I didn't even stay at the hotel. I was put in an apartment building down the street. No one bothered to tell me how to get back to the main hotel during my stay, so for breakfast in the morning, I had to walk at least a block up a street with no sidewalk to get to the hotel.
The apartment building I was in smelled so musty and of smoke that I could barely breathe the first night. The bed was as hard as a rock and killed my back. There was no coffee in my room, which definitely felt more like an apartment, and it looked like people were living in some of the units full time (the balconies had furniture, plants, etc.). We didn't see any housekeeping services while there.
I paid to stay at a hotel and felt like I was forced to stay in another location, which was so inconvenient, we didn't even bother grabbing the free breakfast on our second morning because we didn't feel like walking or driving to the actual hotel. They need to advertise that you might be placed in a nearby apartment.
