1970s hostel type rooms with a nice pool, view, more modern lobby/bar area. Don’t recommend for families with babies.
Rooms: horrible. So uncomfortable. Bedding is two hospital sheets. Beyond outdated. Rotting wood Frames on windows and balcony doors. Mold in shower and the bathroom smelled like pee. Dirty curtains, stained sheets. This is a one star. Night and afternoon they have trivia games or play loud music so if you need peace forget it because you have to close everything up to muffle it and it becomes very stuffy because there’s no AC just a ceiling fan and one standing half broken fan. Showers only and no one offered a baby tub to us at check in. We bought a tiny blow up tub for the baby and then upon check out see cleaners pulling out baby tubs in rooms that were clearly provided by the accommodation. Check in is at 5PM (!?). At 4:50pm they tell us the room isn’t ready despite me letting them know at 1:30 we were there and letting us leave luggage there. I had to persist that they find us a room because we were informed that it wouldn’t have been ready in ten mins. W/ children this was a challenge to wait, longer would have been torture for them.Breakfast was ok but blah&repetitive. No outside food allowed
The two min walk to the beach is great of course and the pool lining is new and clean. The bar staff was very friendly and I think overall staff was nice. But by no means will I go back here.
Calvi is a 10-12min walk along a wooden pathway and parking lots.
