Honest opinion
I used the app to request 1 out of like 15 rooms that were available early that morning. When we arrived at check in time at 4pm, the digital key in the app that we were going to use was supposed to be easy to access our elevator and room (no front desk necessary) didnt work. We had trouble finding rooms and someone to help. The Hilton app offered chat service for help, but response was not timely. After a half hour of trying to find the front desk and another 15 mins of waiting in line, they preceed to tell me the room is not ready. We pick a different room, easily find the elevators now and the digital key worked good, and so did room keys. Room was clean, ok view of the river, nice shower and bathroom, had some lotion bottles along with shampoo, conditioner, and hand bar soap. Only had washclothes and hand towels, no large bath towels. Bottom of sitting chair was broken that had small thin boards with nails sticking out, anyone could have gotten hurt. Nice size tv, bed was comfortable and clean but could have used a comforter on it, it only had two flat sheets. Ordered Wolf Gang Puck pizza and it was delicious! We loved how there is restaurants inside the hotel. The event we went to was at Van Andel, so we used the Skywalk from the hotel to walk all the way to the arena without having to go outside. I would rate the stay 4/5. They could have had more ways to be able to find your way around the hotel and made sure the rooms were maintained a little better.
