Manager had not been informed by Expedia that we had reservations. Room was fine, but with only 4 groups in the entire hotel, why put people above us that had tv blaring and wandered around until 5:00 AM? And saying it’s highly rated in this tiny town is a joke…it’s the only hotel. Never going back.

Brenda and Julie were both very helpful as we were arriving late due to road closures. Even though the front desk was closing, Julie opened our room so that we could get in when we arrived. She even turned on the heat on in the room for us. Very pleasant experience.

Great location in downtown Vernonia. We appreciated Julie's warm hospitality during our stay. Our extended family booked several rooms for a family gathering. We all were pleased with the accommodations. The rooms had mini fridges which was a wonderful surprise to me. This hotel was exactly the peaceful escape we were looking for! We will be returning.

Room had everything and was very clean. My only issue was that other guests were setting off fireworks directly outside the doors. I understand Fourth of July but it was unbelievably loud and disruptive. I’m not sure if this is normal or not but my dog was stressed and I’m sure I won’t get much sleep.

Room was clean and close to parking. Great new portable air conditioning unit. TV was nice and staff was quick to show me how to use it. I could not figure out how to turn on the refrigerator. Close to Banks-Vernonia bike path, which is a major attraction in the area.

We booked this through Orbitz as usual. When we arrived at the hotel a sign on the door said full, no big deal. When trying to to check in the lady at the desk was very apologetic and said they were full. She asked if we booked on Expedia and told her Orbitz. She showed me no booking was received. One room which was rented weekly she called the renter who was gone for a few days and then cleaned the room and rented to us. She went out of her way to accommodate us. She told us they have had this happen before. We thank her for her kindness

I was disappointed how you could hear your neighbors through the walls and ceiling. I was on the lower level, and the people staying above me would go to bed at midnight and wake up at 5am and start getting in the steps for the day. You could hear every foot step. It was very frustrating. There was no desk, so being able to complete work with a laptop was a huge pain. There was limited plugins in the room which also make it difficult. Had I known these things, I would have stayed somewhere else. I'm sure if you stayed on the top floor, your stay would be lovely....just not downstairs.
